There is gold plating over the silver - the plating is worn off and flaking - see photos. It has the French Boar’s Head mark on the clasp - see photos. It measures approx ⅝ inch wide and the inside circumference measures approx 6-⅝ inches. It has some dings and shallow dents on the side without decoration that do not show well in the photos. It has surface wear and tarnish - it opens and closes properly. It weighs 19.9 grams.
